Therapist‑Designed Program
Designed and led by pediatric occupational and speech therapists with expertise in supporting children with diverse learning, communication, and sensory needs.
Orchid & Ivy enrichment programs are approved providers through Wisconsin CLTS (Children’s Long-Term Support) allowing eligible participants to use waiver funding for enrollment.

Week 1 – Dig, Plant, Grow! - Hosted at East Troy Intergenerational Community Center
Personal Garden Boxes
Participants will build and plant their own garden boxes using herbs, flowers, or small vegetables. They will learn basic planting techniques, tool use, and how to care for plants over time. This week introduces responsibility and routine through plant care.
Week 2 – The Greenhouse Experience - Location coming soon!
From Seed to Sprout
Participants will visit Bluebird greenhouse to explore how plants grow from seeds into mature plants. Activities may include transplanting seedlings, watering plants, and learning basic horticulture practices.
Week 3 – Horses & Hands-On Learning - Hosted at Horse Power Healing in Eagle, WI
Participants will interact with therapy horses at Healing Horse Power while learning about animal care, grooming routines, and farm safety. Activities include brushing horses, helping with feeding routines, and observing animal behavior.
Week 4 – Life on the Farm - Location coming soon!
Meet the Animals and Crops, Learn the Work
Participants will explore daily life at JJ’s pumpkin farm while interacting with animals and observing crop care and production. They will assist with simple tasks such as feeding animals or collecting eggs.
